Who is Chef Whitney:
Chef Whitney of Foam Cuisine. Formerly of “Whitney’s” on Montana Ave, Chef Whitney is the Executive Chef at The Beach Club in Santa Monica as well as an instructor of Molecular Gastronomy at the Sur La Table (SLT) in the Farmers Market for the past year. In the classroom he was met with passion and interest from professional chefs, food enthusiasts, and even just the inquisitive home cooks. The classes often sold out and the students walk away with a new understanding of Molecular Gastronomy. What once seemed to them something of a far off planet is now familiar.
However, after performing classes at SLT Fairfax, the repeated question was always, “where do we obtain the food additives?” That is no longer the case!
